K-popped? Are you kidding me?

No we are not! We’re Malaysian sisters who got hit (really hard) by the Hallyu wave and are now dedicating this blog to our new-found passion.

Why K-popped?

We are into Korean pop culture and the word ‘pop’ can also mean ‘hit’, for example: We got popped by the Hallyu wave. Get it? No? Well, it’s our blog so we don’t have to explain ourselves.

What’s in it for me?

You’ll get to laugh at our attempts at writing Korean ;-). No seriously, you’ll get a perspective from Malaysian surfers as we ride the Hallyu craze.

We’ll also be checking out the various sources of Korean pop culture available in Malaysia, whether movies, music, TV programs, food, fashion, star gazing etc.

Of course, we always appreciate your two-cents! Only English or Bahasa Malaysia stuff apply because otherwise, we are illiterate, which also explains our hunger for English K-pop stops.

However, if we master Korean, you’ll probably get directly-translated Korean stuff in good England that did not make your head aching when reading. Just liked this!
